UnifyCart Is Open for Business
UnifyCart is open. As of Monday anyone can sign up, start a fourteen day trial and put a shop online without talking to us first.
I built my first ecommerce platform in 2001 and spent the next two decades keeping other people's shops running on it. That is a very good way to learn what actually breaks, and an even better way to learn what merchants are quietly paying for every month without ever deciding to. UnifyCart is the version I wanted to be selling that whole time.
One Bill
The thing that bothered me most about the platforms I worked on was the shape of the invoice. A platform fee, then an app for carrier rates, an app for tax, an app for wholesale pricing, an app for reviews, an app for the thing the platform used to do before it was an app. None of them large on their own. Together they are often more than the platform.
So the pieces a shop actually needs are switched on here rather than sold back to you:
Live carrier rates from USPS, UPS and FedEx, with your own negotiated accounts if you have them
Sales tax, worked out at checkout and recorded on the order
Customer groups and wholesale pricing, with per group catalogues
Gift certificates, coupons, discounts and purchase orders
Digital goods, subscriptions and recurring billing
Themes, a page builder, and the full REST API

We Move You
Migrations are free, and we run them rather than handing you an importer and wishing you luck. Products, variants, images, categories, customers, orders, order history, coupons and redirects all come across, and the old addresses keep working so nothing you have ever linked to goes dead.
We have done this from SunShop and from WooCommerce, and the largest of those shops moved in under an hour with eighteen years of orders in it.
It is a Young Platform
